Lost and Found
There were a number of Lost and Found items in the FWISD High School coaches 
office at WGAC. The pool deck was also littered with abandoned items. These 
have been laundered and placed in a large bin underneath the bulletin boards 
at the entrance to the Natatorium.

Lost and Found Items will be collected each Wednesday and can be claimed for 
free until the following Wednesday. On Wednesdays any items will go to the 
first person who has $1 to claim or purchase them. That evening, anything 
left over will be donated to charity.

Many of these items appear to belong to FAST swimmers and have some value, 
such as sweatshirts, school uniforms, tennis shoes. Many are adult- or 
high-school sized. Please pick them up before "last call".



TAGS Information updates
Texas Longhorn Aquatics is the meet host and has set up information on their 
site including Warmup Assignments, Parking (important !!), and will continue 
to update it through the meet with real-time results. If you are going to 
the meet, it's very important to get familiar with the Parking as it will be 
very tight. For everyone else: TAGS will begin Thursday evening March 8 and 
continue through Sunday night, March 11. This is a "Big Deal" state 
championships for the top swimmers aged 14 & Under and requires the swimmers 
to achieve some very fast time standards to qualify. There is a parade, 
swimmers are individually introduced as they go to the blocks in finals, and 
it is a very significant milestone in a young swimmers career.

An entries report will be available on the FAST website so you can see what 
events your favorite age-grouper is signed up to swim.


Volunteer Hours
The end of our September-February volunteering hours period has arrived. If 
you haven't documented all your volunteer hours service, you need to do so 
immediately if you wish to get credit. There are blank forms on our website 
and you can print them, complete them, and turn them in at the pool. Please 
do so before Spring Break.


Spring Break
FAST will take a 1-week training break during the FWISD spring break. There 
will be no practices for any group March 12-17. If you have not had your 
spring championship yet, please check with your coach about alternative 
training arrangements.
