[FAST News] Banquet, Bring a Friend, Summer Season

FAST will have our annual spring banquet Monday May 7. There will be no 
practice Monday evening so that our coaches and swimmers can attend.


We are going to have a "Bring A Friend" night at FAST on Wednesday May 16. 
The guest's parents will need to sign a "hold harmless" that we'll have 
posted on our website. Guests will need to know how to swim as the groups 
will do a workout. An info packet will be on our website homepage, and 
Kellie Schlosberg can answer questions.


This year we are planning a Summer membership for new swimmers (not existing 
members) to swim June and July only for swimmers who would go into the 
younger groups (the "fish" and "ribbon" groups). If you know of some people 
who aren't sure about a year-round swimming commitment, please help spread 
the word. We will also have information about it on our website homepage.


We are not planning any changes to the summer schedules at WGAC except for 
the Senior groups who will start an hour earlier in the afternoons. Morning 
practices will only be for the older kids in the advanced groups; the 
coaches will communicate this schedule to their swimmers.


Parents, our Membership Director Kellie Schlosberg could use some help with 
her membership drives. We would like to add new younger swimmers to replace 
the ones that got bigger and faster. Our Pool Parent Mary Richey may also be 
able to use some help, so check with her at the pool.
