[FAST News] Swim Bucks; Lost-n-Found; FWISD Graduations; Photos

"Swim Bucks" incentive program:

We are in need of parents to help run the "Swim Buck" store. A roster for
the groups has been placed on the bulletin board at the pool. If your
swimmer's group participates in the swim buck store please sign up to run
the store for a night. Kay Mucher has done a wonderful job with this but
now has moved on to bigger and better things as our new treasurer. Please
let us know also if you have an interest in being the supply coordinator
for this wonderful program the coaches have put in place for our swimmers.

Lost 'n Found
The Lost and Found bin at the pool is full. Items include shoes, towels,
and other good stuff. Please check it this week before it is donated to
charity. It is becoming an eyesore and we are taking some criticism about
keeping it out.



FWISD High School Graduations
There are going to be some high school graduations starting this week at
Wilkerson-Greines. As always, we need to be on our best behavior with the
increased visibility our team will have. That means no food or drink in
the seating area, swimmers must be fully clothed when entering/exiting the
building (probably through the side doors), and the usual house rules.
Parents must not stop in the firelane to drop kids off and all should
exercise caution in the parking lot.

We will be moving Saturday morning practice this weekend (May 26) to
Forest Park at normal times for the groups that practice Saturdays; we may
also have to move another day's practice for one or two other practices
where the FWISD has security concerns and needs to lock down the building.
We will try to provide as much lead time as possible.

Ruth Funderburk continues to solicit photos for our online photo album and
also for next year's banquet. She has put some photos online from our
Spring Banquet. Please check with her at the pool if you have digital pix
you would like to contribute.
