The entries reports for the June 1-3 meets are now online on our website:
the A/BB "Rose City" Invitational in Tyler; and the Texas Senior Circuit #2
meet for our fastest senior swimmers.

Parents, if you did not sign up for the Tyler meet, please note that the
meet is being capped at 400 swimmers. If they reach their cap, they may not
allow late entries from swimmers not previously entered. We will do some
inquiries to see what the situation is if somebody did not sign up on time
and wasn't entered. The next meet for our A & BB swimmers will be on June
22-24.

The Senior Circuit meet does allow late entries if you have the qualifying
times, but the fees are pretty steep ($9 per individual event)

Results from the COPS "BB" meet last weekend as "underway". North Texas
Swimming does a pretty thorough review to ensure that all swimmers were
registered with USA Swimming and their name/birthdate/gender/team
affiliation are correct; plus the swims are reviewed to make sure all DQs
were recorded, incorrect splits removed, etc. While the meet host has 10
days to submit results and corrections, North Texas Swimming wants to change
the written rules to require clean results to be ready consistently in less
time with (ideally) no mistakes. The COPS "BB" results should be available
in a few days.

Parents, an "issue" arose at a recent meet with another team and it may be
time for a reminder. USA Swimming does not allow consumption of alcohol or
use of other tobacco/tobacco products indoors or outdoors in any area
designated for swimmers ( pool deck, lockers, spectator seating/standing
areas, and in all other areas used by the swimmers) either during the meet
or during the warmups. Let's keep in mind that we're all here to make it
good clean fun for the kids.
