[FAST News] Meets for Masters AND for USA Swimming athletes

Masters - the "tune-up" meet scheduled for June 16 at PCAT appears to be
canceled due to a lack of local interest. We are getting confirmation. The
North Texas LMSC meeting scheduled to follow is TBA.

Tyler A/BB meet - there was an error in the "template" that MTRO sent us
to use for the meet, which caused many of our 13&Over swimmers to be
entered with Yards times instead of their best LC times. We have submitted
a corrected file so you will not need to fix it individually at the meet.
Also, we were able to incorporate COPS results in for the swimmers who
just swam the BB meet last weekend.

Look on the bulletin board at WGAC for some activities that will be held
in conjunction with the Tyler meet. The meet host only has a big meet once
a year and they try to roll out the welcome wagon and make it fun.

SWAT B/C meet on June 9-10 - the meet host has revised the warmup times
due to good participation so there's enough room for everyone to fit. The
8&U session will remain as is. These are FAST's assigned warmups:

Sat I - 8&U - warmups 8-8:30 am; meet starts 8:45 am
Sat II - older - warmups 10:45-11:15 am; meet starts noon
Sun III - older - warmups 8:15-8:45 am; meet starts 9 am
Sun IV - 1650 - warmups begin 15 min after Sun session III completes

Please make sure that your swimmer is ready to start warmups promptly at
the beginning of our timeslot.

Open Water Meet June 9 - the original lake swim has been canceled. North
Texas Swimming is putting together an alternative combined event and
"clinic" with open water tips in a central location. Our FAST 13&O A and
BB swimmers will need to sign up within a week but we can't provide
details yet. Stay tuned !!
